The CUED Machine Intelligence Laboratory is hosting and maintaining the HTK Web site co-ordinating the development of HTK. HTK was originated at CUED before passing to Entropic and then to Microsoft.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) supports the development of HTK as part of a project at CUED funded under the DARPA EARS programme.

Microsoft acquired HTK with the purchase of Entropic and have generously licensed HTK back to Cambridge University and supported the effort to distribute and maintain HTK via this web site.
